Chapter 6. Paint Palette

Painting is a very important operation to interact with your data. The floating paint palette, Figure 6-1, allows you to change the paint brush color rapidly; hence, it can expedite the interaction between you and your data.

For each color in the paint palette, there is a keyboard accelerator:

These keyboard accelerators can be used over the floating paint palette or any plots that are in the paint or identify mode.

In addition to selecting a color with a mouse, you can use a keyboard to select a color with the left, right, up, and down arrows on a keyboard.

Type the lower case R to invoke this keyboard accelerator. "R" is used because that is what's printed on a keyboard. Shift-R will be used to mean the upper case R.
