Painting is a very important operation to interact with your data. The floating paint palette, Figure 6-1, allows you to change the paint brush color rapidly; hence, it can expedite the interaction between you and your data.
For each color in the paint palette, there is a keyboard accelerator:
R [1] for red
G for green
B for blue
C for chartreuse4
O for orchid
D for darkgoldenrod1
T for tomato4
1 (digit 1) for white
0 (digit 0) for black
In addition to selecting a color with a mouse, you can use a keyboard to select a color with the left, right, up, and down arrows on a keyboard.
[1] | Type the lower case R to invoke this keyboard accelerator. "R" is used because that is what's printed on a keyboard. Shift-R will be used to mean the upper case R. |
